About Us
Operation BRAVE was founded in 2020 through the The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Ending The HIV Epidemic in the U.S. Initiative (EHE). The goal is to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the United States by at least 90% by 2030 with the goal of decreasing the number of new HIV infections to fewer than 3,000 per year.
Reducing new infections to this level would essentially mean that HIV transmissions would be rare and meets the definition of ending the epidemic. From treatment, housing and having someone support you throughout your medical appointments, we want you to know that this journey doesn’t have to be taken alone.
We are here to help offer guidance and support through this journey. #BeBRAVE. Operation BRAVE partners with other in the community to get you the help and care you need. Our partners include Alamo Area Resource Center (AARC), Beat AIDS, San Antonio Aids Foundation (SAAF) and more.
Feel free to reach out at any time so we can connect you to the care you deserve! All of our services are 100 percent confidential and free.
