Welcome to Operation BRAVE!
Operation BRAVE was founded in 2020 through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative to help reduce new HIV infections in the U.S. by 90% by 2030.
Operation BRAVE connects people living with HIV—whether newly diagnosed, out of care, or not yet virally suppressed—to essential medical care, treatment, and support services in Bexar County. With today’s treatment options, including daily antiretroviral therapy (ART), people living with HIV can achieve an undetectable viral load and live long, healthy lives—without passing the virus to others.
We provide guidance, support, and connections to community partners such as Alamo Area Resource Center, BEAT AIDS Coalition Trust, and San Antonio AIDS Foundation. All services are free and 100% confidential.
You are not alone—Operation BRAVE is here to help. #BeBRAVE
